Probate

Probate is the process that will be followed to ensure that all your assets can be released to your family. As a UK citizen, in most cases your assets will not be released until Probate is granted by the Probate Registry.

The Executors you appoint in your Will are the ones who will be tasked with undertaking probate and administering your estate. The death of a loved one is a difficult and upsetting time for those left behind and it is worth considering appointing professional administrators (Executors) in your Will, as opposed to burdening family members.
